We got caught up with Connie and Greg in Port St. Lucie. First over craft beers at The Side Door Brewery and then over dinner at Conchy Joe’s. Both fun places. Seems that boating and RVing are very similar–stuff breaks 😕 It was a fun night catching up. We hope to see them next week for a ride on Bob.
We are moving the boat a bit further North today to Vero Beach. We will be at the city Marina. We are told people call this town Velcro Beach because you won’t want to leave! We will soon find out. Again, we will drive the Boat to the Marina and Joe gets the truck via Uber. So far this has worked well.
I must print a retraction about the catfish I “eeeeked” about in a prior post. They are actually channel mullet or whiting. They too are bottom feeders. They are big with a rounded head but no whiskers! Silly Minnesota girl– I know my crappie, bluegill and walleye. Anyway, I still find them creepy- there are mobs of them by the wall waiting for people to throw food and when the food is tossed it looks like piranha feeding on a poor wildebeest.
